The dutch guys at NieuweMobiel.nl have a lot of time on their hands. They've been nosing around LG's website looking at random XML files and have come across a listing for the LG GW620 (a.k.a the Eve). What's more interesting is scrolling down the XML file eventually yields information that the Eve will run Android making this LG's first Android phone.
The information can be found from the words "http://www.openmobileallianc.org..." (a standards body which develops open standards for the mobile phone industry), "Android-Webkit" (the program used by mobile manufacturers to run Android on their phones) and 'Webkit 3.1.2" (as in the HTML rendering engine. Nothing to do with Android, so let's just scrap that. thanks for the update Ivan!).
All we need now is an official confirmation by LG and maybe some pictures to go with the details.
